Our good friend and 7th grader, Cannon McMullin, has a rare blood cancer called Essential Thrombocythemia, also known as E.T. He participates in a research program to find a cure and wants to help raise awareness for this rare cancer. He also came up with the idea to have a fundraiser to help other patients with E.T to be able to participate in the same research program. The money will help cover the travel expenses for other patients.

The 7th and 8th grade Service Learning Class is working to help Cannon with his fundraiser by making and selling bracelets and keychains this semester. We want to thank everyone who has made a purchase so far. We made $300 the first week they went on sale this year! Each month, we will feature new special bracelets and keychains. This month we have purple/gold, orange/black, and fall colors. They will be on sale on during the following dates in Mrs. Dukes’ classroom:

Thursday, Oct. 8th

Friday, Oct. 16th

Friday, Oct. 23rd

Friday, Oct. 30th
