The FL tennis team traveled to Arkadelphia on Monday 10/4/21 for the 7AAAA District Tournament. Lainey Mungle won the girls singles District Championship. Paige Davis was the girls singles District Runner up. Angela Coriaty/Emma Kaumeyer was 3rd in girls doubles. Andrew Lydon finished 3rd in boys singles. Andrew Bledsoe finished 4th in boys singles. The Girls finished as Conference Co-champions. State will be next Monday at Rebsamen Tennis Center in Little Rock.

The Lady Cobras golf season came to an end Wednesday at Lake DeGray State Park. The Lady Cobras placed 5th in the conference tournament out of 8 teams. Jaylen Cameron led the Lady Cobras with a 117. Katie Kandlbinder (132) and Sophie Skinner (134) rounded out the scoring for the Lady Cobras. Ellen Spigner (74) finished as medalist for the Lady Scrappers. Nashville (253) DeQueen (321) Malvern (346) Mena (364) Fountain Lake (383). The Fountain Lake Cobras advanced to the state tournament with a second place finish in the conference tournament. Nashville took first place with a 255. The Cobras 264 was led by Carson McCoy (86) Kolt Carden (87) and Brodie McMillan (91). All three of these young men earned All Conference. Gray Manning of Arkadelphia finished as medalist with a round of 73.

Gates will open at 6:00 (due to senior night ceremony starting at 6:25). According to ADH Guidelines, the Stadium will only fit 613 people due to capacity guidelines. All tickets will be $5 per person and must be bought in advance. Tickets will only be pre-sold so please read below. *New* - PLAYERS, BAND, CHEER will be allowed to purchase 2 parent tickets per student participant and will be available from 8:15 am to 3:00 pm on Monday, August 31 and Tuesday, September 1 in the Fountain Lake Administration office (Madison Burfiend). Every attendee MUST wear a face covering at all times unless eating or drinking. Social distancing of 6‘, using every other row, is MANDATORY. Households may sit together on a row. No one except for both school’s administration, teams and support personnel and their coaches are allowed on the field before, during or after the games. Senior Night will start immediately after pregame at approximately 6:25. *New* - With a limited number of tickets available, once we reach the capacity of the stadium (613 People), no one else will be allowed in the stadium. We appreciate the understanding of all the great Cobra fans as it pertains to tickets and mitigation efforts. Though not the way we are used to doing things, this is the only way to do our part to hopefully make it through the season.

Fountain Lake Football Fans, There has been a small change for the Junior High Football Benefit Game. Though originally scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, the game against Magnet Cove Jr High HAS BEEN MOVED TO MONDAY, AUGUST 17. Game time is now scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm.
