2023-2024 Preschool Registration Information

Parents interested in applying for a slot in our four-year-old preschool can call (501-701-1708) or come by the PK-1 office (Building #6) for information. If you miss pre-registration, you can pick a packet up in the PK-1 building during normal business hours. Our school business hours are 8:00 A.M. - 3: 30 P.M. 

Placement in this program is based on class availability and need (Notice: it is not first come, first serve). The criteria used to determine need is based on research and input from our preschool committee. We do not serve school-choice preschool students. Below are the criteria for consideration:

• The child’s guardians must live in the district

• Income of child’s guardians

• Guardian's education level

• Does the child have a sibling enrolled in the district? (This doesn’t apply to school choice students.)

• Home language used

• Child’s score on the preschool screener

• Does the child live with their biological parents?

• Does the child’s guardian work for the district?
