The FL tennis team traveled to Arkadelphia on Monday 10/4/21 for the 7AAAA District Tournament. Lainey Mungle won the girls singles District Championship. Paige Davis was the girls singles District Runner up. Angela Coriaty/Emma Kaumeyer was 3rd in girls doubles. Andrew Lydon finished 3rd in boys singles. Andrew Bledsoe finished 4th in boys singles. The Girls finished as Conference Co-champions. State will be next Monday at Rebsamen Tennis Center in Little Rock.

The Lady Cobras golf season came to an end Wednesday at Lake DeGray State Park. The Lady Cobras placed 5th in the conference tournament out of 8 teams. Jaylen Cameron led the Lady Cobras with a 117. Katie Kandlbinder (132) and Sophie Skinner (134) rounded out the scoring for the Lady Cobras. Ellen Spigner (74) finished as medalist for the Lady Scrappers. Nashville (253) DeQueen (321) Malvern (346) Mena (364) Fountain Lake (383). The Fountain Lake Cobras advanced to the state tournament with a second place finish in the conference tournament. Nashville took first place with a 255. The Cobras 264 was led by Carson McCoy (86) Kolt Carden (87) and Brodie McMillan (91). All three of these young men earned All Conference. Gray Manning of Arkadelphia finished as medalist with a round of 73.

Tomorrow's Jr High Football AAA Benefit Game vs Magnet Cove will kick off at 6:30pm. Tickets will be $4 at the gate. Home fans should enter at the new entrance near the south endzone (by the new parking area), and guests should purchase tickets at the stairway entrance by the auditorium parking lot. Fountain Lake Charter High School will be offering summer school for credit recovery from June 7 through July 1, Monday through Thursday of those weeks for English, Math and Science only. These classes will be offered digitally, but may be completed at home or onsite. If you would like your student to attend summer school please check your student's email to sign up. 10th & 11th GRADE STUDENTS Students who plan to attend either their 1st or 2nd year of a program at National Park Tech Center (NPTC) are required to complete an application. These applications are due to Mrs. Keys by Thursday, April 15th. Remember, to qualify for the National Park Promise scholarship a student has to be enrolled in the same NPTC program for both years and complete all necessary program requirements. Fountain Lake Charter High School will be holding virtual Scheduling/CAPS conferences on Monday, March 15. Students in grades 9-12 will not attend classes on this day. Instead, students and parents will attend a short virtual appointment with the student's advisor to discuss their six year plan. During this meeting students will also sign up for next year's classes, so it is very important for you to participate. Students have been working with their advisors to prepare for this conference and must participate in this final meeting with you in order to be counted present for the day. Your student's advisor should be contacting you to schedule the appointment. Again, there will be no classes for grades 9-12 on Monday, March 15. Free and Reduced Lunch forms are due on September 15th. We need these forms submitted in order to prepare for the spring semester. If you have not received a form, please contact us or print the form that is on our website. Last week, the Arkansas Child Nutrition Unit announced that the USDA has extended the Seamless Summer Operation program through December 31st, 2020- or until funding has been exhausted. This means that all students will be able to eat one school breakfast and one school lunch per day at no cost. Any student wanting an extra breakfast, lunch, or à la carte item must purchase those items separately. Students will still need to use their ID cards.

Good Morning! We will be delivering 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches Today, Monday, April 20. We will be delivering 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches on Thursday, April 23. Buses will be at their first stop around 11:00. Drive through pickup is still available between 11-12:45
