Fountain Lake School District

On January 8, 2024, the Lady Cobras faced the Lady Hillbillies at Fountain Lake for 4-4A conference game. The Lady Cobras got off to a quick start and led the game 22-7 after the first quarter and 36-12 at halftime. The final score was 59-23 with the following leading the scoreboard: Emma Riley 13, Hannah Norris 10, Paige Davis 11, Andie Bassett 8. Coach Matt Carter said, “I thought the girls came out tonight with great energy and played very hard throughout the game. Our defense and intensity was fantastic and it set the tone for how we played the game. When we play this way, we are a tough team to play against; I’m proud of the girls. It was a great night for Lady Cobra Basketball.” Because of outstanding teamwork, there was no particular Fountain Lake Player of the Game. Carter said, “We played great team basketball tonight.” The next game is on January 12.
