The Fountain Lake Senior High Boys Basketball Team played Waldron at the District Tournament in Pottsville on February 15, 2023. The following are stats from the game: First Quarter 17-9, Second Quarter 31-17, Third Quarter 36-22, and a Final Score of 50-38 for a Cobra win. The leading scorers were Colby Lambert with 18 points, Dedric Blocker with 16 points, and Dillon Dettmering with 10 points. Coach Jacob Dettmering said, “The boys got off to a good start scoring the basketball and shooting from 3-point…bench players stepped-in and made good contributions and the boys did a good job adjusting defensively when we switched to zone.” With 18 points and excellent play, Colby Lambert was named the Fountain Lake Player of the Game.
