On February 23, 2023, the Fountain Lake Senior High Basketball Team faced Huntsville in the Regional Tournament located in Morrilton. The following are stats from the game: First Quarter 21-11, Second Quarter 35-30, Third Quarter 51-35, and a Final Score of 69-52 for a Fountain Lake win. The leading scorers for the game were Colby Lambert with 26 points, Dedric Blocker with 14 points, and Dillon Dettmering with 11 points. The Fountain Lake Players of the Game were Colby Lambert and Taten Smith. Coach Jacob Dettmering said, “The kids did a great job with their defensive assignments and defensive rebounding throughout the game. Offensively, we did a good job of getting to the foul line, sharing the ball, and had multiple players hitting shots.” The Cobras will advance to the next game in the tournament facing Dardanelle on February 24, 2023.
