The Fountain Lake Senior Boys Basketball Team played Dardanelle in Morrilton at the Regional Tournament on February 24, 2023. The following are stats from the game: First Quarter 18-18, Second Quarter 31-33, Third Quarter 40-51, and a Final Score of 47-70 for a Dardanelle win, making Fountain Lake’s record 21-9. The leading scorers were Dedric Blocker with 20 points, Colby Lambert with 10 points and Evan East with 9 points. Coach Jacob Dettmering said, “ We got off to a great start and played really well on offense the first half, but Dardanelle played really well offensively throughout the whole game and separated from us in the second half.” The Fountain Lake Player of the Game was Dedric Blocker. The Cobras face Morrilton on February 25, 2023 in the next phase of this tournament.
