The Fountain Lake Senior Boys Basketball Team played in the Regional Tournament (third-place game) in Morrilton on February 25, 2023. The following are stats from the game: First Quarter 8-10, Second Quarter 19-28, Third Quarter 28-35, and a Final Score of 43-53 for a Morrilton win. The leading scorers were Colby Lambert with 23 points and Evan East with 11 points, bringing the Cobras to a 21-10 record for the season. The Fountain Lake Player of the Game was Colby Lambert. Coach Jacob Dettmering said, “The kids battled, played through mistakes, and gave great effort against a very athletic and physical team, but we came up short.” Don’t miss the Cobras in their next game on February 28, 2023 in Blytheville in the first round of the State Tournament when they face the #2 seed from the East Region.
