The Fountain Lake Baseball Team played Mountain Pine on March 7, 2023. Wesley Campbell completed the game with a one-hit shut-out. He pitched 14 strikeouts in 6 innings. Colt Carden was 1 for 3 with one home run and three runs-batted-in. Preston Taylor was 2 for 4 with 1 single, 1 double, and 2 runs-batted-in. Ethan Grissom was 2 for 2 with 2 singles. Coach Justin McArthur said, “[We had a] great pitching performance by Wesley and a good dominating team win. Kolt Carden had the big home run that busted the game open for us.” The Fountain Lake Players of the Game were Wesley Campbell and Kolt Carden.
