The Fountain Lake Softball Team played Centerpoint on March 14, 2023. Abby Burden started in the circle for Fountain Lake. Eden East came in to pitch in the third inning and finished the game. East went 5 for 5 at the plate with 4 RBIs. Annaclaire Berry added 2 hits and 2 RBIs and a diving catch in center field that led to a double play at second base. Assistant coach, Sarah East, said, “It was a nice effort by the Lady Cobras. They hit the ball well, but just came up a little short.” The Fountain Lake Player of the Game was Annaclaire Berry. Their next game is against Centerpoint on March 18, 2023.
