The Fountain Lake Softball Team met Centerpoint for a second time on March 15, 2023. Annaclaire Berry led the offensive charge going 4 for 5. Mary Drakes and Kamryn Whiley each had 4 RBIs with timely hits that put the Lady Cobras up late in the 7th inning. Eden East closed out the game on the mound, recording all 3 outs in the bottom of the 7th inning. As a response to this win, Assistant Coach, Sarah East, said, “The girls really rose to the occasion and came up big in key moments of the game.” The Fountain Lake Players of the Game were Mary Drakes and Kamryn Whiley. Lady Cobra Softball will continue by playing Poyen on March 17, 2023.
