The Fountain Lake Softball Team traveled to Waldron High School on March 28, 2023. Eden East meant business when she arrived at the ballpark tallying 4 hits leading the Fountain Lake Varsity Cobras to a 9-3 win over the Waldron Lady Bulldogs. East singled in the 2nd inning, doubled in the 3rd, had a homer in the 5th, and a single in the 7th inning. East led the team in the pitcher’s circle and only surrendered 3 runs on one hit over 7 innings and struck out 6. In the second inning, Meagan Tillery drew a walk to score 1 run. Assistant Coach, Sarah East said, “This was a great conference win for the girls.” Annaclaire Berry and Eden East were named the Fountain Lake Players of the Game. The Lady Cobras will play Mena next.
