The Fountain Lake Softball Team defeated Ozark on April 14, 2023, with a score of 22-15. Each team’s offense was strong at the plate and Fountain Lake Varsity Cobras collected 19 hits in the high-scoring game. Annaclaire Berry, Eden East, Mary Drakes, Keylee Weeks, Kamryn Whiley each had multiple hits and East went for the long ball in the fourth inning, while Berry went 5 for 6 at the plate to lead Fountain Lake in hits. The Fountain Lake Player of the Game was Annaclaire Berry. Head Coach, Kenneth Shelton said, “I’m proud of the girls for setting a new record for wins in a season.” Don’t miss the Lady Cobras as they play Pottsville for Senior Night on April 18, 2023.
