On September 8, 2023, the Senior High Football Team traveled to Brinkley. Abram Davis led the team in rushing with 17 carries for 45 yards, Caden George completed 2 passes both of which went to Brayden Buss for a total of 36 yards. Defensive stats: Devin Williams led the team with 12 total tackles 6 of which were solo, Brayden Buss had 9 tackles, Bricn Smith had 9 tackles, Sammy Tillery had 9 tackles, and Kyle Pinkston had 8 tackles. Kyle also had 1 sack. Devin Williams had 2 pass break ups. Kyle Pinkston forced a fumble and also recovered a fumble. Caden George forced a fumble and Balin Alford recovered a fumble. Coach Kenneth Shelton said, “It was a tough night for us as we continue to fight the injury bug. We had to play a lot of musical chairs by moving several players around and asking them to play positions they aren't used to playing. We gave up 3 4th and long plays that Brinkley were able to convert and score on. Brinkley's team speed was just too much for us to overcome...Caden George also had 2 punts for 78 yards with a long of 40.” Kyle Pinkson was the Overall and Defensive Player of the Game, and Caden George was the Offensive and Special Teams Player of the Game.
