The Fountain Lake Junior High Football Team played Lonoke on September 8, 2022. Although the game ended in a 30-8 loss, Balin Alford had 6 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery. Devin Williams had 2 tackles and 1 interception returned 100 yards for a touchdown. Coach Justin McArthur said, “It was a tough loss. Our kids played hard on defense and forced 3 turnovers, and scored on defense with a pick 6…looking forward to bouncing back this week versus Ashdown.
