The Fountain Lake Football team played Rosebud on September 9, 2022. Abe Rose finished the game with 5 for 5 passing for 168 yards , 3 touchdowns, and 2 rushes for 7 yards for 2 more touchdowns. Evan East had 3 receptions for 103 yards and 1 touchdown in addition to 10 tackles and 1 pass defense. Abram Davis had 5 rushes for 58 yards and 1 touchdown. Juan Diggs had 1 reception for a 57 yard touchdown as well as 2 kickoff returns for 150 yards and 1 touchdown. Destyn Fields had 5 tackles and 1 sack. Jaron Adams finished the night with 9 tackles and Sam Tillery had 8 tackles. Mats Koller kicked 7 for 7 extra points and almost kicked for one more extra point, but barely missed a 47 yard field goal. Coach Kenneth Shelton said, “The guys had an unbelievable 1st quarter scoring 42 points…need to fix a few things defensively.” The Fountain Lake Player of the Game was Abe Rose.
