The Fountain Lake Golf Team met Clarksville, Dardanelle, Pottsville, Mena, Morrilton, Ozark, and Waldron at Magellan Golf Course on September 20, 2022. The team scores were as follows: Fountain Lake-241, Clarksville-269, Dardanelle-291, Pottsville-244, Mena-273, Morrilton-254, Ozark-287, and Waldron-296. Kolt Carden was Medalist with 78 points while Dillon Dettmering had 79 in the round. Carson McCoy and Coil Burks both ended the match with 84. Jaylon Cameron qualified for the state tournament with a score of 102. Coach Michael Blees’ reflection on the game was, “The boys fought hard to overcome a slow start today, but their eyes remain on the prize.” The Fountain Lake Player of the Game was Kolt Carden. The next match will be the 4-A State Tournament at Magellan Golf Course on September 26 for girls and October 3 for boys.
