The Fountain Lake Junior High Football Team met Mena at home on September 22, 2022. Though the score ended with a loss of 26-8, the boys still had some excellent highlights. Elijah Reed had 12 carries, 111 yards rushing and 1 touchdown. Balin Alford had 13 carries, 60 yards rushing 1 two- point conversion and a team-leading 7 tackles on defense. Aidan Ault had 4 tackles and Caleb Castle had 4 tackles. Coach Justin McArthur says, “We will continue to commit to improving each and every week and get the kids ready to play high school football!” The Fountain Lake Player of the Game is Balin Alford.
