Fountain Lake Junior Varsity and Varsity Volleyball Teams hosted Bauxite at Bass Gymnasium on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Coach Tina Moore said, “This was a big conference win for us since we lost to Bauxite at their place earlier in the season. It was a great team effort. Our goal was to eliminate errors and we did a great job reaching that goal.” The Junior Varsity scores tied with scores of 25-7 and 18-25. Madi Guess had 8 service points and 6 kills. The Varsity teams won their matches with scores of 18-25, 25-18, 25-13, and 25-16. Faith Jones had 12 service points and 10 kills. Kara Martin had 18 kills, and Annaclaire Berry had 15 service points. The coaches expressed that there was no MVP or Player of the Game as everyone contributed and put forth good team effort. Do not forget to follow the Volleyball Team’s journey as they travel to Waldron for their next matches on October 6, 2022.
