The Fountain Lake Junior High Football Team traveled to Waldron on October 27, 2022. Coach Justin McArthur reflected on the 28-0 win by saying, “The boys played great on offense, defense and special teams. It’s always good to win the last game of the season…looking forward to next season with a good group of 8th graders moving up.”  Some highlighted stats from the game are as follows: Peyton Harwood had 126 kick return yards including an 81 yard return for a touchdown, 4 carries for 31 yards rushing, 8 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery. Devin Williams had 3 carries for 56 yards rushing and 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Balin Alford had 6 carries for 31 yards rushing and 3 tackles. Caleb Castle had 8 tackles and Braedon Stacy had 6 tackles. The Fountain Lake Player of the Game was Peyton Harwood. Be sure to support Fountain Lake Junior High Football next season.
