The Fountain Lake Senior Girls Team played the Malvern Leopards at Bass Gymnasium on December 16, 2022. The following are stats from the game: First Quarter 18-2, Second Quarter 41-10, Third Quarter 60-18, and a Final Score of 66-26 for a Lady Cobra win. The leading scorers were Paige Davis with 24 points, Kara Martin with 14 points, Lainey Mungle with 14 points, and Karlie Craver with 8 points. Coach Matt Carter said, “I thought the girls played hard, and this was a win they really needed. I felt like we played with confidence and finished possessions by playing good defense and rebounding the ball which led to a lot of transition buckets. Hopefully we can build on this moving forward.” With 24 points, Paige Davis was named the Fountain Lake Player of the Game. The Lady Cobras will play Waldron on December 19, 2022.
