The Fountain Lake Senior High Boys Basketball Team hosted Pottsville on January 5, 2023. The following are stats from the game: First Quarter 12-5, Second Quarter 23-19, Third Quarter 38-24, and a Final Score of 51-32 resulting in a win for Fountain Lake. Leading scorers for the game were Evan East with 10 points, Dillon Dettmering with 10 points, Colby Lambert with 9 points, and Dedric Blocker with 8 points, bringing the team to a 12-3 overall record with a 5-1 conference record. Coach Jacob Dettmering said, “The kids did a great job playing through adversity and managing foul trouble in the first half; in the second half, they played with great toughness throughout and put the game away.” The Fountain Lake Players of the Game were Dillon Dettmering and Dedric Blocker. The next game will be January 7, 2023 at Fountain Lake against Dardanelle.
