The Fountain Lake Senior High Girls Basketball Team headed to Berryville for a tournament played during the dates of December 28-30, 2022. They played against Fordyce, Crane, MO, and Heber Springs. The following are stats from those games:
Fordyce: 47-45 (win) Paige Davis scored 27 points and Kara Martin scored 12
Crane, MO: 44-43 (win) Paige Davis scored 22 and Kara Martin scored 8
Heber Springs: 29-50 (loss) Paige Davis scored 16 and Lainey Mungle scored 8
Coach Matt Carter had this to say about the tournament: “The girls played very well over the three-day tournament making their way to the finals. I was proud of the way the girls competed throughout the three days. I thought they played hard and followed their game plans which allowed them to be successful. I enjoyed the experience with the girls and look forward to going back next year.”
