The Fountain Lake Senior Girls Basketball Team played Jacksonville Lighthouse at Bass Gymnasium on January 24, 2023. The following are stats from the game: First Quarter 21-7, Second Quarter 35-11, Third Quarter 50-16, with a final score of 55-20 for a Lady Cobra win. Coach Matt Carter said, “Paige had the hot hand in the game sinking five 3-points baskets and finishing with a team high of 22 points. I thought we played hard on the defensive side of the ball in the first half forcing Jacksonville into several turnovers that led to easy buckets for the Lady Cobras. Our goal was to play with good effort and I felt like we did just that. We need to keep improving on our half-court offense, but it was nice to get a win.” With 22 points, Paige Davis was the Fountain Lake Player of the Game.
