The Fountain Lake Senior High Girls Basketball Team played Clarksville at Bass Gymnasium on February 8, 2023. The Fountain Lake Lady Cobras got off to a fast start and outscored the Clarksville Lady Panthers  20-9 in the first quarter of last night's 4A-4 conference game.  Fountain Lake carried that momentum into the 2nd quarter to take a 34-17 halftime advantage and pulled away in the second half for a 58-41 victory. Paige Davis led a balanced scoring attack with 16 points followed by Mary Drakes with 14, Karlie Craver 10, and Emma Riley with 7 points respectively.  Coach Matt Carter said, “I was pleased with the way we played in the game. I thought we played fast and with good effort throughout the game and scored the ball well with our transition offense. It was a fun game to be a part of…” The Fountain Lake Player of the Game was Mary Drakes with 14 points. Don’t miss the Lady Cobras battle it out with Ozark on February 10, 2023.
