Preschool and Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-2023 school year is coming up on April 18th and 19th in Safe Room A. You can go ahead and fill out registration paperwork online, and the office will print it out. Go to: www.flcobras.com, click on Sites: Elementary, then go to Menu and there will be two links on the right-hand side under the "For Parents" section. All current PreK students will need to fill out registration paperwork for kindergarten. All students must be present for registration and screening on the day of registration.

Due to the basketball game and band concert, our PTO meeting for this week will be rescheduled for next Thursday, March 10th at 5:30pm. We are sorry for the late notice.

Elementary Class pictures have been rescheduled for Monday, March 7th.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are tonight and Thursday from 3:30-6:30. You may enter the doors at both buildings, K-1 and 2-4. We will also have the small gate by the car rider area and the large gate by the 1st-grade hallway open for your entrance. Please stop by the K-1 hallway to see if your child has any missing coats. Family Night is tonight!! February 8, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 All Elementary Family Night activities will be in the K-1 building, high school cafeteria, and the pe building. All families will enter through the K-1 building. Mrs. Holland and Mrs. Davis will give each student a bag and a treasure map with 19 stations. On the back of the map there will be a K-1 building map. Students will need to visit at least 8 stations in order to have their names entered in the drawings. Students may visit all 19 stations if they choose. When your child visits a station, the teacher will initial the square with the station name. When students are finished they may take their maps to Mrs. Fournier. Mrs. Fournier will be located in the K-1 entryway. Mrs. Curry and Mrs. Freeman will draw for prizes a little before 7:00 p.m. Students do not have to be present to win. Free food will be served in the high school cafeteria (hot dogs, nachos, hot chocolate, and water). Tomorrow is Election Day for the Fountain Lake School District. Voting locations are at Safe Room A on campus, Community Baptist Church, or USA Storage. Polls open at 7:30 am and close at 7:30 pm. Every vote counts, every vote matters. Make sure you vote on election day.

The Boys and Girls Club is closed tomorrow, Monday 2-7. If your child goes there after school, please make other arrangements for their afternoon transportation and let the office know. Thank you.

Tuesday 2/8 our senior high basketball teams have HUGE games against Arkadelphia. Anyone wearing an “I Voted” sticker gets FREE ENTRY for the most anticipated game of the season! See you there!

Daddy Daughter Dance is tonight from 5-7pm in the elementary and high school cafeteria! Please enter at Fason Drive, past Sonic, by the K-1 building. The K-1, Safe Room A, and upper parking lots are cleared and dry. You will come to the elementary entrance at the preschool doors and enter there then walk down the hallway to the cafeteria. Good afternoon. As of now, the Daddy Daughter dance is still planned to take place tomorrow. Temperatures have warmed and there seems to be some melting and we are hoping that it will melt some more tomorrow. Hope to see you all there!

To assure the safety of our students and staff, Fountain Lake School District will not have in-person classes on Friday, February 4, 2022. Students will have virtual AMI Day #5. We will continue with virtual instruction.

Due to potential weather issues, the Fountain Lake School District will pivot to virtual instruction on Thursday, February 3, 2022. No decision has been made about Friday at this time. Devices will be sent home this afternoon with elementary students. Teachers will be communicating virtual work and Google Meets as we did a few weeks ago. At this time, the Daddy Daughter dance is still planned to take place if the weather is warmer. If something changes, I will let everyone know. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding!
