Update on the pee wee football coaches meeting and player registration being held on Tuesday, June 18. It will be held at the field house at 6:00 pm

The Fountain Lake School District shares our sympathy with the families of our student Colton White and our former Choir Director Katherine Combs. After long battles with cancer, both have been healed. We will long remember the impact both made on our school community.

LOCATION CHANGE!!!
Coach Richardson will be having a mandatory football parent meeting for all incoming 7th-12th grade parents and players on Thursday June 20th at 6:00 pm in the GYM. This will give Coach Richardson the opportunity to provide our parents with the information they will need for the upcoming season and will also give our parents an opportunity to meet and greet our new Coaching Staff. We look forward to seeing you there. Exciting things are happening at Fountain Lake. Go Cobras!

Fountain Lake Football: Coach Richardson will be having a Pee Wee football meeting for all Pee Wee Football Coaches and will have player registration for grades 3-6 on Tuesday, June 18th. Click on the link below for the Player registration form and have it filled out and turn it in at the meeting.

Happy School Nurse's Day to our wonderful nurses and Health Center staff! We appreciate everything you do to take care of our students and staff every day!

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and we could not let the week get away without telling each of our amazing staff members how much they are loved and appreciated! We could not do everything we do for your students without every FLES staff member on this list. If you have the chance this week, let them know how great they are!!

Thanks to our Friends from First Security Bank for rolling out the "Teal Grill" to kick-off Teacher Appreciation Week!

The All Sports Athletic Banquet will be held for those who participated on 2023-2024 Sr. High Athletic teams. There will also be a National Honor Society induction on May 6 at 5:00 pm that will not conflict with the Athletic banquet. We will serve food beginning at 5:30 pm and will begin the awards ceremony at 6:30. When the athletes finish their NHS induction they can then proceed to the Athletic Banquet without any conflict.

The 2024 Pee Wee Girls Basketball camp was a huge success. We had a great turn out and the kids had a lot of fun throughout the camp. I would like to thank all of my players who participated and helped during the camp, Coach Willis, Morgan Wallace and Kerri Carter for making the T-Shirts and all of the parents who allowed us to have the opportunity to coach and get to know your children. The show of support will only help our program to grow. Thank you and Go Cobras!

Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer, or Summer EBT, will help close the summer hunger gap when kids are on summer break and not receiving nutritious school meals. Summer EBT provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer.
Summer EBT benefits will come in the form of pre-loaded cards that families can use to purchase groceries.
Starting summer 2024, families will receive $120 per eligible child. These benefits work together with other available FNS nutrition assistance programs, such as summer meal sites, SNAP, and WIC, to help ensure kids have consistent access to critical nutrition when school is out.
If your child received free or reduced price meals at Fountain Lake, you should receive your card in July at the address on record with the school. DHS will send the cards. If you did not apply for free or reduced priced meals during the school year, you may still qualify.
