While Governor Hutchinson lifted the mask mandate today, he also announced that each local board of education must take action to maintain or change local policy. Until the school board takes action, the Fountain Lake School District mask policy will remain in place. Following board action, any policy modifications will be communicated to you all. Thank you.

As you are all probably aware we will not be on campus Wednesday, February 24 due to an area-wide water outage. It is our plan as of now that instruction will be back on campus Thursday, 2/25, and Friday, 2/26. Friday this week is not a virtual option day. Because we have missed so much onsite instruction due to weather and water shortage, Friday is a regular school day onsite. If students miss this day their absence will be unexcused.

Good afternoon, The Fountain Lake School District will not meet for face-to-face instruction on Monday, February 22. The North Garland County Water District notified us that we do not have water on our campus. Students should check SeeSaw and Google Classroom for assignments and continue to work virtually. We will continue to monitor road conditions and keep everyone informed regarding the water shortage.

Due to the current weather conditions and forecast for this week, Fountain Lake Schools will not meet for face to face classes Tuesday, February 16 through Friday, February 19. Students should check SeeSaw or Google Classroom each day for assignments and scheduled class meetings. Any situation that arises that may prevent students from completing assignments will be addressed next week on a case by case basis. Please stay safe, warm and enjoy the snow! Have a great week.

Good Afternoon! Welcome to February. We have made it to the halfway mark of the 3rd quarter and that means conferences are at hand. We normally prefer to have one night as a student led conference but with COVID this year, we have made an adjustment. Middle School teachers will host conferences on Tuesday, February 9 and Thursday, February 11 from 3:30-6:30pm each day. Please schedule an appointment with your child's teachers if you need to discuss concerns. Conferences may be conducted by phone, virtually, or in person. Face masks and temperatures will be required of all on-site conferences. We also ask that everyone follow the 6 foot social distancing requirement while in the building. I do want to encourage everyone to allow their child to lead them through a student led conference so our kids can show off their work and accomplishments. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to modify for the safety of our students, teachers and community. Thank You. Mr. J.
