The High School basketball games for Friday night at Mena have been canceled and will be rescheduled for Thursday, January 18. There will be a JV boys game starting at 5:00 PM followed by Sr Girls and Sr Boys action. The Pee Wee games for this Saturday against Arkadelphia have been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date and the 7th grade girls and boys games have been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

The Fountain Lake School District expresses its deepest sympathy to the family of our eighth grade student Sage Kane on his unfortunate passing. Additional counselors and support staff will be present in all of our buildings in the coming days. We are saddened by this loss and will miss Sage's presence on our campus.

As many of you probably already know, Sage was involved in a very tragic accident late Tuesday night. He is currently in critical condition at Arkansas Children's Hospital. The Fountain Lake School District Board of Education regretfully accepted the resignation of Ms. Sarah Inman as Middle School Principal on Thursday, November 30, 2023 effective at the end of the Fall Semester. Ms. Inman will be supporting her parents as they navigate a series of illnesses. We want to express our appreciation to Ms. Inman for her service to the district and send all of our best wishes to her and her family. We are working to hire an interim Middle School Principal for the remainder of the school year.
