The Fountain Lake School District expresses its deepest sympathy to the family of our eighth grade student Sage Kane on his unfortunate passing. Additional counselors and support staff will be present in all of our buildings in the coming days. We are saddened by this loss and will miss Sage's presence on our campus.


Fountain Lake School and the Fountain Lake Athletic Dept. would like to express our deepest sympathies and support for the the family of one of our Student Athletes, Sage Kane. As many of you probably already know, Sage was involved in a very tragic accident late Tuesday night. He is currently in critical condition at Arkansas Children's Hospital. He needs all of the prayers that we can provide. His family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support, we all know he is a fighter. #SageStrong

Lainey Mungle, signed her letter of intent to play tennis at Henderson State University. Lainey has represented Fountain Lake with pride both on and off the field of play. She is a scholar Athlete, a person of faith, and has exemplified the true meaning of being a Cobra. We wish Lainey the best as she enters a new phase of her life and we want her to know we are PROUD of her. Go Cobras!

The Fountain Lake School District Board of Education regretfully accepted the resignation of Ms. Sarah Inman as Middle School Principal on Thursday, November 30, 2023 effective at the end of the Fall Semester. Ms. Inman will be supporting her parents as they navigate a series of illnesses. We want to express our appreciation to Ms. Inman for her service to the district and send all of our best wishes to her and her family. We are working to hire an interim Middle School Principal for the remainder of the school year.

Randy Summerville, long time Cobra supporter and clock keeper for Ft. Lake Football and Basketball games has endured some health problems that unfortunately do not allow him to serve our athletic programs anymore at this time. Due to these circumstances we will be having a benefit for Randy to raise funds to help support him and his family through this tough time. The volleyball game will be tomorrow at 1:00, not 12:00

Fountain Lake Volleyball will be traveling to Shiloh Christian for the state volleyball tournament on Tuesday 10/24/23. We will be sending a fan bus for high school students that would like to attend that will be leaving at 1:30pm and returning around midnight.
Students must:
- Bring this permission slip signed by a parent or guardian to the high school office (paper copy can be picked up at the office).
- Purchase a game ticket through GoFan for $8. Cash will not be accepted at the gate.

- Bring $5 for entry to the fan bus. This can be paid at the high school office.
- Cash for concessions is recommended. The fan bus will not be stopping for meals there or back.
Students planning to attend are asked to get work that will be missed from teachers ahead of time.

To all Cobra Athletics Supporters. Leanne Culpepper and the Ft. Lake Athletic Department are trying to restart our Athletic Booster Club. The Booster Club is a great way to support the efforts of our Athletic teams through fundraising which gives our kids opportunities, while at the same time bringing our community together through volunteerism to help support our kids. The Volleyball Games scheduled at Ashdown for this evening, Tuesday, October 10, have been cancelled due to a scheduling error. The Varsity Volleyball team will travel to Ashdown tomorrow, Wednesday, October 11 for only a varsity game at 4:30PM.

We want to congratulate Jaylen Cameron on an outstanding golf season. Jaylen spent most of the summer playing golf and winning her division in the HSV Jr. Golf tournament and carried her efforts over to the fall by helping her team qualify for the State Golf Tournament while posting a score of 80 and becoming the first girl golfer at Fountain Lake since 2016 to Make All State. We are Proud of you Jaylen, Great Job, your hard work has payed off. Go Cobras!
