AT&T has a major cable cut. We are running on a backup system. Phone system is running at about 75% quality.

The state internet system is currently down. Our auxiliary AT&T system is also down and being rerouted. Campus telephones are not working. We will let you know when the systems are back on line.

Congratulations to Lainey Mungle and Celeste Rea Garibay. They have been selected to represent FLCHS and Hot Springs National Park Rotary Club at Camp RYLA in April. Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive training program for community youth leaders. Talented young people attend an all-expense-paid seminar, camp or workshop, organized and run by Rotarians with records of achievement.

The 10th grade student tour of National Park Tech Center that was scheduled for tomorrow has been moved to Friday, March 10th due to the SR boys playing in the Basketball State Finals.


12 scholarships are due this week including the Oaklawn Foundation Scholarship, the DeSoto Women's Club, the Jeff Nobles Memorial Scholarship, and the Oaklawn Rotary Scholarship. All 10th grade students will tour National Park Tech Center on Tuesday, February 28th. They will explore the programs NPTC offers such as Medical Professions, Automotive Technology, and Marine Repair. Students will also learn about earning their associates degree while still in high school. We feel it is important for every student to see all the available opportunities.
