Due to forecasted inclement weather and to allow our families as much time as possible to make alternative arrangements, the Fountain Lake School District will not have in-person classes on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. The district will have an Alternative Methods of Instruction Day. Students in kindergarten through 8th grade were given packets to complete on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in case an AMI Day was needed. High School students were instructed to log into their Google Classrooms for each class period. Should a high school student not have connectivity, he or she should contact the high school office upon return to make-up the day. Have a great evening. Go Cobras.
There are many programs that want to help students with clothing for Prom. One organization is known as Cinderella's Closet. If you or someone you know need assistance with formal wear for Prom please see your school counselor as soon as possible. The deadline to apply for Cinderella's closet is Thursday, February 9th.
Gentlemen, there is help with tux rentals as well.

Buzz Wilson Scholarship
The Arkansas Spa Pacers Running Club of Hot Springs is accepting applications for the Buzz Wilson Scholarship. Mr. Wilson was an active member of the Spa Pacers for many years who provided encouragement to all runners and organized many running events in Hot Springs. Scholarships are awarded each year to high school seniors planning to attend college in the fall, involved in the sport of running and/or walking for fitness, and exemplify the principles identified in the Spa Pacer’s mission statement. Scholarship funds are awarded from proceeds from the Spa Running Festival. Applications should be submitted to the Arkansas Spa Pacers Running Club and postmarked no later than February 1, 2023. Applications can be submitted online or a paper version completed and mailed to PO Box 1199, Hot Springs, AR 71902.
