
Cobra Bass Club will hold it's annual Membership Meeting on Sunday, December 17th at 2 p.m. in the Bass Gym Classroom.
Any angler planning to fish this upcoming year must attend this meeting or make arrangements to turn in all membership forms prior to the meeting. Membership forms are available in all the offices or see Coach Mungle.

Miss Bratton and her 5th and 6th Grade Respect360 students delivered a banner yesterday to our Maintenance Staff to show our appreciation. We are so thankful they help get us to school and home each and every day and take care of our school. :)


Jeremy Richard from Entergy spoke to our students during a Lunch & Learn right before Thanksgiving. He discussed the many facets of Entergy including career opportunities and allowed for some great Q&A near the end of each session.

FLCHS Fall Semester Exams will be held on December 21 and 22. All students are required to take all tests, and tests missed for unexcused absences will not be made up. Please ensure your student is able to make it to both days of testing.


There is a volunteer opportunity for FLCHS students Monday 11/20 from 8am-Noon at Walnut Valley Baptist Church as they prepare boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Mr. Robertson will be onsite to sign off on volunteer hours.

Tidwell shared her journey to Miss Arkansas, social impact initiative with students on speech disorders, and completed Thanksgiving cards for our neighborhood residents at Belvedere. Thank you Walnut Valley Church for hosting FLES annual Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast! A special thanks to Maddison Pierce for organizing this event and church members, community members, and FLHS Beta Club for cooking and serving for everyone. Chelsea Bailey, Oaklawn Jockey, and MMA fighter spoke to students during both lunch shifts at a Lunch and Learn in the FLCHS Library Media Center. Chelsea discussed the ins and outs of being a Jockey and brought along several items she must have and use on race day.




Fountain Lake Middle School will host our 2nd Annual Winter Dance for 7th and 8th Grade on Friday, December 1st from 5:30-7:30 pm in Safe Room A.
School dress code appropriate attire only. $5 entry fee.

Sarah Walker, a 2019 FLCHS graduate, spoke to students in our Family and Consumer Science classes regarding her career in Occupational Therapy. Sarah is employed at Pediatrics Plus as an Occupational Therapist.

Hot Springs Student Delegation Applications Available
Applications for students desiring to be part of the 2024 Sister City student delegation traveling to Hanamaki, Japan in June 2024 will be available beginning November 15 on the Hot Springs Sister City Program website, hotspringssistercity.org. Garland County students currently in grades 8-11 are eligible to apply for the week-long educational study trip, which is sponsored by the Hot Springs National Park Sister City Foundation.

We honor all Veterans today and their ultimate sacrifice and service for our country. FLES 4th graders attended the annual Veterans Day Ceremony at the HSV Woodland's Auditorium today. Some of our students were selected to present their letters during the program. We are grateful to be a part of this special event each year.
