The Fountain Lake School District honored milestone anniversaries at the year-end staff meeting, Wednesday, May 24. Jayne Ann Rountree -35 years, Stephen Campbell-30 years, Carroll Mercer and Tracy Oxner-25 years, Michael Blees (not pictured) and Robin Fryar-20 years. Congratulations to all of those celebrating Fountain Lake Anniversaries.
Third grade teacher, Katelin Young was named the Fountain Elementary Teacher of the Year for 2022-2023. Ronda Hughes, Media Specialist was honored as the Middle School Teacher of the Year, and Katelynn Dwyer, Family and Consumer Sciences Instructor was named High School Teacher of the Year. Katelynn was also named Fountain Lake School District Teacher of Year.

The Fountain Lake School District offers condolences and prayers to the family, friends, and students of Mr. Tyler O'Briant. A Special Education teacher with the district for the past two and one-half years, Mr. O'Briant's impact on his students and fellow staff members will long be remembered. We are saddened by Tyler's passing, but thankful for the time that he was with us.

FLMS cordially invites you to the Class of 2027 8th Grade Graduation ceremony on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 8:30 am in the Sargo Auditorium. Directly following the ceremony, the 5-7th Grade will have their 4th Nine Weeks awards. Fountain Lake Baseball and Softball teams will be traveling to Clarksville this week to compete in the 4-4A Conference Tournaments. The Baseball team will play Waldron at 4:00 on Monday 4/24 and the Softball Team will play Waldron at 4:00 as well. If both teams win they will Play Pottsville on Tuesday at 4:00 for an opportunity to advance to the Regional Tournament. Please come out and Support our teams. Go Cobras.
