Attention FL Beta Members scheduled to attend the State Convention this week: Both the Junior and Senior Beta conventions have been postponed due to inclement weather conditions. The National Beta Office is in the process of rescheduling it, once the new date is announced our Beta sponsors will inform students and parents.

Due to poor road conditions, the JV boys, Jr Boys, and Sr boys basketball games scheduled for tonight at Subiaco Academy have been canceled and will be rescheduled for next Wednesday, January 24 at 5:00 pm at Subiaco.
The Special Olympics Unified Basketball Tournament originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2024 has been postponed until Wednesday, January 31,2024.

Due to downed trees in the roadways, about 50% of our buses have not been able to complete their routes. If an alternative route is available that is being used. If your child is not picked up by the bus, and if you are unable to get your child to school, please contact your building's office.

The Fountain Lake School District expresses its deepest sympathy to the family of our eighth grade student Sage Kane on his unfortunate passing. Additional counselors and support staff will be present in all of our buildings in the coming days. We are saddened by this loss and will miss Sage's presence on our campus.

Fountain Lake School and the Fountain Lake Athletic Dept. would like to express our deepest sympathies and support for the the family of one of our Student Athletes, Sage Kane. As many of you probably already know, Sage was involved in a very tragic accident late Tuesday night. He is currently in critical condition at Arkansas Children's Hospital. He needs all of the prayers that we can provide. His family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support, we all know he is a fighter. #SageStrong
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2024-2025 academic year is now available periodically through a soft launch period.
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE SOFT LAUNCH
Students may be unable to access the FAFSA due to periods of maintenance downtime throughout January. The form is expected to be fully available later in January and February. There is still plenty of time to submit the FAFSA before the March 15th priority deadline.
Although students may be able to complete the form, FSA will not transmit their FAFSA to any institution until late January.
Upon submission, students will receive a confirmation email noting their submission date, estimated Student Aid Index (SAI), and estimated Federal Pell Grant eligibility.
Students will receive an email when their FAFSA Submission Summary is available to view online.
All students and parents contributing to the FAFSA will need an FSA ID. If they don't already have one, they can create an at https://studentaid.gov/
